TDP finds fault with TRS for not supporting Bapuji fast

Even as the indefinite fast taken up by the former minister Mr Komatireddy Venkatareddy has entered the fourth day today demanding the formation of Telangana state, the TDP found fault with the TRS for extending support to his fast while not caring for the fast launched by the veteran freedom fighter Mr Konda Lakshman Bapuji in Delhi.

TDP Telangana leaders Motkupally Narasimhulu and others told journalists at the TDP office that TRS has announced full support to the fast launched by Komatireddy and its leaders also visited Nalgonda to show their solidarity.

“However, the TRS leaders failed to announce support to the Konda Lakshman Bapuji’s fast or visit him in Delhi,” they charged and asked the TRS to reveal the political reasons behind their action.

The TDP leaders described KCR as anti-downtrodden and accused him of revealing his true colours by not visiting Bapuji who has been fasting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi for the last four days.

Charging KCR with trying to increase his party strength in the assembly by seeking resignations of other party leaders, the TDP leaders said that KCR is acting like a dictator as the Nizam acted in his days.

Meanwhile, doctors at the fasting camp of Komati reddy said he is suffering from body pains and fever but refusing to be treated.
