The CBI sleuths today raided the offices and residences of Ms. Sunitha Reddy, daughter of the Apollo Hospitals group chairman Dr. Pratap C Reddy in Hyderabad in the 2G spectrum case.

CBI officials quizzed Ms Sunitha reddy on Sep 15 in connection with the case and obtained some information on her role in the Aircel-Maxis agreement. She worked as the Chairperson of the Aircel Corporation in 2005. She was said to have close business relations with the Maran brothers of Chennai.

Reports said the CBI teams also raided houses, offices and guest houses of former Union Minister, Mr Dayanidhi Maran and his brother Kalanidhi Maran and their family-owned Sun Network offices in Hyderabad, Delhi and Chennai in connection with the cases registered against them.

The CBI has registered cases against the Maran brothers for their role in the Aircel-Maxis agreement following the sale of 2G spectrum licenses.
