Disappointment pervades T cong, TRS, JAC

KCRTeamPrime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh’s categorical insistence on seeking more time to find a T solution acceptable to all has brought in disappointment to the TRS and the JAC leaders who are spearheading the Telangana agitation.

As they are not happy with their talks with the PM on Telangana, TRS chief Mr KCR and his 30-member team has been returning to Hyderabad empty handed and announced the mass general strike would be intensified in the coming days.

“The PM gave no promise and we are not happy,” said KCR after his meeting with the PM, adding that there was no alternative for them but to intensify the agitation to put more pressure on the Centre and the congress leadership into taking an immediate decision on the formation of T state.

“There will be a rail roko for three days across Telangana from October 9,” announced KCR, adding the all people’s strike would be intensified further. The KCR team has decided to return to Hyderabad and work out its future strategy.

T congress leaders in dilemma

The T congress leaders are not in a position to decide their future course of action and are in total confusion on the issue of Telangana.

The congress leaders, who said they would not return to Hyderabad till Telangana is announced by the Centre, are also planning to return to Hyderabad empty handed.
