Vijayawada congress MP Mr Lagadapati Rajagopal today accused the Telangana political JAC leaders of inducting rowdy-sheeters into the Telangana agitation and resorting to attacks on congress leaders and others through them.

Speaking to media persons in Vijayawada, Rajagopal demanded the government to withdraw the gunmen provided to the pro-Telangana leaders who are encouraging violence in the agitation.

Rajagopal said they would organize a meeting of the pro-united AP leaders in Hyderabad after Oct 7. “TRS attacks on congress leaders and the TRS atrocities will be discussed in the meeting,” he said.

Asserting that the present congress government will continue till 2014 in the state, Rajagopal said that there is no proposal to make Hyderabad a union territory. “There is no question of the Centre imposing President’s rule in the state,” he said.

KCR wants Telangana along with Hyderabad

TRS chief Mr KCR asserted today that Telangana people would never accept a Telangana state without Hyderabad being part of it.

Addressing non-teaching staff of schools and colleges at the party office in Hyderabad this afternoon, KCR said there is no use of taking Telangana state without Hyderabad. “Hyderabad is like a head of a body and who wants the Telangana state with out Hyderabad?” he asked.
