Even as the mass general strike of the Telangana employees reached the 14th day today crippling normal life across the T region and paralyzing the public transport system totally in Hyderabad, the heat of the agitation touched the IT companies too in the city with the agitators resorting to blockade of all the roads leading to the Hi-Tech city.

OU Students and other pro-Telangana elements reached the Hi-tech city on the outskirts of Hyderabad this morning and obstructed the movement of software professionals and requested them to cooperate with them in attaining the Telangana state.

With hundreds of vehicles being stopped and the pro-Telangana elements resorting to blockade of the roads at the Hi-tech city, there was heavy traffic jam and thousands of vehicles were stranded on the roads.

After hours of road blockade, police at last arrived on the scene and disbursed the agitators leading to the lifting of blockade. Even after the police arrived, the agitators were seen requesting the IT professionals to cooperate with them.
