CBI continues to grill Vijayasai reddy

jaganMr Vijayasai reddy, vice chairman of the Jagathi Publications owned by the YSR Congress chief Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy, attended the CBI questioning for the 17 consecutive day today at the CBI make shift office in the Dilkusha guest house in Hyderabad.

Along with him, some officers of the IDBI Bank also attended the CBI questioning session as part of the investigations into the illegal properties case registered against Jagan.

Meanwhile, the special court today adjourned till September 23 the hearing on the CBI petition that sought the custody of Gali Janardhan reddy and his brother-in-law Mr Srinivasa reddy who are lodged in the Chanchalguda jail.

The adjournment has followed when the lawyers of the arrested duo didn’t turn up for filing their counter. It is said that the Gali’s lawyers didn’t turn up due to the lawyers’ strike. The CBI lawyers agreed to give time to the lawyers of the duo for filing their counter following which the court adjourned the case.

Meanwhile, the bail petitions of Gali and Srinivasa reddy are slated to come up for hearing tomorrow in the court.
