TDP Chief Mr Chandrababu Naidu has washed his hands off the proposed by election to the Banswada assembly constituency in Nizamabad on October 13.

Unable to take a decision on contesting the by election, the usually wise Chandrababu Naidu conveniently put the onus on the leaders of  the Telangana Forum of his party and told them to take their own decision on the issue.

“It is up to you to decide on contesting the by election,” he told them relieving himself of the burden after dilly-dallying for a few days. However, most of the leaders of the TDP Telangana Forum have decided not to contest the by election. “It wouldn’t be wise to contest,” they have reportedly told their leader.

In the last two days, the convener of the Telangana Forum, Mr Errabelli Dayakara Rao repeatedly asked Mr Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy to keep off the by election if he wants to prove his sincerity towards Telangana state.

Mr Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy who quit the TDP and the assembly demanding Telangana state is contesting on the TRS ticket. However, Dayakara Rao asked the other parties too not to contest the by election.
