The JAC of the Telangana RTC staff said the employees working in all depots of the Telangana region will join the mass general strike (Sakala Janula Samme) on September 19 in a full fledged manner.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad today, the JAC chairman Mr Anandam said they would take up propaganda activities on behalf of the mass general strike from September 12 in all Telangana districts.

Mr Anandam said that RTC buses would not ply from September 19 anywhere in Telangana and the employees would not allow the private buses to leave Hyderabad for Seema Andhra areas. JAC leader Mr Vittal also participated in the press meet.

Both Anandam and Vittal asked elected representatives of all parties from the Telangana region to participate in the mass general strike by quitting their posts and agitate for the sake of Telangana.
