Shankar Rao seeks probe into Bhudan lands

shankerMinister Sankar Rao said today he would submit his list of properties to the state Lok Ayukta in ten days.

Speaking to media persons in Hyderabad, he charged that nearly 2000 acres of Bhudan land in and around Hyderabad have been subjected to land grabbing and encroached upon by greedy persons and said he would write a letter to the state Governor ESL Narasimhan seeking a thorough probe into the issue.

The Minister, who became famous for his letters to the High Court seeking a CBI investigation into the properties of YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan reddy and the APIIC-Emaar land scam, revealed that the government has acquired a land of 1000 acres from the people of the village Vaddinagulapalli in Ranga reddy district for developing a Formula One Race Course but it didn’t return the lands to the farmers though the project did not take off.

“The lands must be returned back,” he demanded and said he would take up the issue with the government.
