Delhi police serve notices to TRS leaders

trsThe Tilak Marg police of Delhi today served notices to TRS leaders Mr Harish Rao, K. Taraka Rama Rao, Etela Rajinder and Vinod in the case relating to the assault on the officer on special duty at AP Bhavan Mr Chander Rao two weeks ago.

In the notices served on the TRS leaders, the Delhi police had asked them to explain in person their forced entry into the AP Bhavan and their attack on Mr Chander Rao.

It might be recalled that Harish Rao, supported by other TRS leaders, forced his entry into the AP Bhavan and assaulted Chander rao after the officials refused to bring into its premises the dead body of Mr Yadi Reddy, who committed suicide in Delhi for the sake of Telangana.

Harish Rao later tendered an apology for the incident but Chander rao lodged a police complaint in the Tilak Marg police station seeking action against the attackers.
