President Pratibha Patil today arrived in Hyderabad on a special flight from Delhi for her 6-day summer retreat. Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, Governor ESL Narasimhan and Mayor Karthik Reddy welcomed her at the Begumpet airport.
The president will leave for Tirumala on July 7 to have Darshan of the Lord Balaji and participate in the inauguration of newly built Annadana Satram. From there, she will fly back to Delhi on the same day.
During her 6-day stay at Rashtrapathi Nilayam in Secunderabad, the president will participate in some official programmes in Hyderabad.
