Scorching Sun adversely affects T stirThe Dharna programme organized by the TRS across Telangana as part of its third phase of Telangana agitation evoked poor response in the last two days from its cadres due the continuing heat wave in all the districts.

The districts of Karimnagar, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Ranga Reddy, Medak and Warangal reported zero activity despite the repeated requests of TRS leadership to its activists and supporters to participate in the agitation actively.

In all these districts, temperature is being recorded at more than 45 degree Celsius for the last few days and activists are not in a position to step into the scorching sun to conduct the programmes.

Reports said that KCR himself had cancelled his trip to Karimnagar district because of the scorching heat. In this backdrop, the TRS could conduct its activity only in Nalgonda and Mahaoobnagar districts.

Meanwhile, the TRS leadership had called upon its cadres to conduct Dharnas in front of District Collectorates on May 25 and organize Rail Roko on May 30 in all the districts.
