Former Kadapa MP Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy today began his 7-day fast at Indira park in Hyderabad demanding immediate reimbursement of fee to the professional colleges to ensure their smooth functioning and continuation of the academic career of students.
Jagan, after garlanding the statue of the late YSR at the Panjagutta centre and that of Ambedkar at the Tank Bund, began his fast at 11.30 AM at the Indira Park.
Along with Jagan, cong MLAs owing allegiance to his leadership and some student leaders have also participated in the fast. Totally 19 MLAs and MLCs including two PRP MLAs and two TDP MLAs have attended the fast.
They included Konda Surekha, her MLC-husband Konda Murali, Pilli Subhashchandra Bose, Balineni Srinivasa reddy, Amarnath reddy, Kapu Ramachandra reddy, Babu Rao, Ashok Babu, Ravi, Gurnath reddy, Siva Prasad reddy, Srikanth reddy, Srinivasulu, Mekapati Chandrasekhara reddy, Jayasudha and Adinarayana reddy from the congress party, Shoba Nagi reddy and Katasani Ramreddy from the PRP and Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar reddy and Balanagi reddy from the TDP.
