T- TDP MLAs to boycott budget session

T region TDP MLAs, assembly boycott, Motkupalli Narasimhulu, Nagam Janardhan reddyTDP senior leaders of the Telangana region Motkupalli Narasimhulu and Nagam Janardhan reddy today announced that they have decided to boycott the budget session of the assembly.

Speaking at a media conference in Hyderabad, they said they have taken this decision as a measure of support to the T employees who are participating in the non-cooperation movement for achieving their demands which included separate state of Telangana. “All TDP MLAs of T area will boycott the sessions,” they said.

It may be mentioned that the congress MLAs of the T region have already announced that they would boycott the assembly budget session to put pressure on the state government and also on the congress leadership to declare Telangana.

“We will inform our decision of boycott to our party president Mr Chandrababu Naidu,” Janardhan reddy said.

Commenting on the statement of Home Minister Chidambaram that separate Telangana could not be formed overnight, the TDP leaders said the statement indicates that the formation of the separate state could be delayed beyond expectations.
