Former Kadapa MP Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy is the most adversely affected person politically because of the T agitation. Jagan wanted to announce his political outfit ‘YSR Congress party’ on March 8 but now he has reportedly decided to postpone the launching of his party once again.
Jagan group leaders Ambati Rambabu and others have been declaring for the past few days that Jagan would launch his party on March 8 at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district. Sources close to Jagan camp however say that Jagan has decided to postpone the launching of his party as the Centre has not yet announced its decision on Telangana.
Jagan is of the view that people in Seema Andhra region would oppose his party if it takes a posture in favour of Telangana. On the same token, T people would oppose his party if it announces pro-united AP stance. “To avoid this type of situation, he has decided to postpone the launching of his party in April expecting a decision on the T issue by the Centre by that time,” said a leader from the Jagan camp.
People can now expect the launching of the new party by Jagan only after the Centre announces its decision on the demand for separate state of Telangana.
