Eenadu daily, which spares no opportunity to expose former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan reddy’s hand in the scams that took place during his father YSR’s regime, has come out with a detailed story on Saturday on how Jagan, late YSR’ friend KVP Ramachandra Rao and his close relative Raghu had cornered costly villas at Nanakramguda in Hyderabad as part of the Emaar properties scam.

Jagan grabbed two villas in an area of 4098 square yards at Nanakramguda costing around Rs.20.49 Cr and a nominal amount of Rs.2.1 Cr was paid towards its cost but that too Jagan did not directly make the payment. On behalf of Jagan, a corporate organization, which benefitted from the late YSR in shape of land, made the payment. “There was a clear proof for this,” the Eenadu story point out.  

The story says that KVP got a villa in the name of his wife and his close relative Raghu got four villas including the one that came without any payments. On the whole, Jagan, KVP and his men had looted around Rs.817 Cr as the payment was shown as Rs.5000 per square yard though the market rate was around Rs.50,000 per square yard. The balance of Rs.45,000 for the entire land was collected in Delhi without inviting anybody’s attention, according to the Eenadu news story.

Meanwhile, the state government has sought CBI investigation into the Emaar MGF scam as the investigation is to be carried out outside of the country in Dubai, Mauritius and Switzerland.
