Will cong help TRS win MLC election?

Viveka, YS Vivekananda reddy, MLC elections, TRS, Congress, Mohammad Jani, Paladugu Venkat rao, ChengalrayuduDespite the propaganda that the agriculture minister YS Vivekananda reddy may contest the MLC elections from the constituency of MLAs, the party high command has not yet decided on his candidature.

Though, he said he would be contesting the assembly bye election from the Pulivendula constituency, it is said he would also be asked to contest to the Council through the MLAs’ quota.

Party high command seems to have finalized the names of Mohammad Jani, Paladugu Venkat rao and Chengalrayudu till now. The congress can easily win six seats with the cooperation of the PRP and Majlis but the party has decided to offer one seat each to the PRP and Majlis.  Senior leader C. Ramachandraiah may contest on behalf of PRP. But the party has not yet finalized the 6th candidate.

Chengalrayudu belongs to the Kadapa district and it is doubtful whether another candidate from the same district, from which Viveka hails, will be given chance to go to Council. TDP will win three seats from the MLAs’ quota and it may not try to bring fourth candidate into the fray. In this backdrop, who will be the other candidate?

Acting quickly and deciding to take advantage of the situation, the TRS has brought into fray its candidate but who will help its candidate win? Is it the congress members or Jagan men?
