Srija, the youngest daughter of mega star and PRP chief Chiranjeevi, who complained to police against her husband Sirish Bharadwaj and mother-in-law Surya Mangala under the Dowry Prohibition Act and Domestic Violence Act, on Friday told police that she was not allowed by her husband to use the internet-connected computer in the house.

She told police that she had to use the computer of her neighbors to send emails to her parents on the harassment meted out to her by her husband. She also informed police that her husband did not allow her to use her mobile phone. “My husband in fact trapped me by giving false SMSes to my parents from my mobile without my knowledge,” Srija told police when they asked her about her SMSes to her parents saying that she was leading a happy married life.

Regarding her interviews to TV Channels on Valentine Day in which she said that she was leading a happy married life with Sirish Bharadwaj, Srija said that she was forced by her husband to give such interviews.

Reports indicated that she had ready answers to tell the police when she was asked about the contradictions in her complaint.
