Former Tollywood heroine and congress MLA Jayasudha, who has been off and on declaring open support to the former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan reddy and his YSR Congress party, refused to accept the whip issued by the congress chief whip Mr Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka in connection with the legislative council elections on March 17 under the quota of the MLAs.
The whip has asked all its MLAs to be present in the house on March 16 and 17 and directed them to vote for the congress party candidates in the council elections.
Sources said that Jayasudha has refused to accept the whip saying that she has some important shooting to attend on that day. But she reportedly told Mallu that she would attend the assembly on 17 and participate in the voting.
“I don’t have the intention of rebelling against the whip but I didn’t sign for the whip as I will not be able to attend on March 16 because of the shooting. If I sign and don’t come up to the assembly that would be a problem for me,” she told media persons adding that she did not sign for that simple reason only.
