Jagan party? It won’t last long

Health minister DL Ravindra reddy today said the main fight in the bye elections to the Pulivendula assembly and Kadapa Lok Sabha constituencies would be between congress and the DL Ravindra reddy, Narreddi Rajasekhara reddyTDP.

Conversing with media men in Kadapa, the minister said the former Kadapa MP Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy would not be a force to reckon with in the bye elections. “He has not yet launched his party. We will talk about it after his party is launched,” he said, adding that even if he launched his party, it won’t last long. “The electoral battle would be between congress and the TDP.”

Meanwhile, Narreddi Rajasekhara reddy, son-in-law of the agriculture minister YS Vivekananda reddy told a TV channel in Delhi that he is ready to take on Jagan in the Kadapa Lok Sabha bye election if the party high command permits him to do so.

Rajasekhara reddy, who arrived in Delhi this morning along with his father-law to meet party president Sonia Gandhi, said he is confident of winning the bye election as a congress candidate. Rejecting the allegations of Jagan that Sonia plotted to divide the YSR family, Rajasekhara reddy said that he would leave no stone unturned to defeat Jagan in the bye elections.
