Queering the pitch for some of the already troubled Satya Sai Central Trust members who are allegedly involved in shifting the Sai wealth illegally to their coffers, the Puttaparthy people today took out a procession in the town demanding immediate arrest of the members for their involvement in funds diversion.

Business persons of the town also participated in rally voluntarily closing their shops along with other sections of the local people who raised slogans against the trust members and demanded their arrest.

The participants in the rally have asked the government to take over the trust and run it on the lines of the TTD by appointing an executive officer to ensure its continuous running smoothly.

The local people of the town have sought an inquiry against the trust members to bring out the truth into the reports of shifting of Sai wealth. Meanwhile, the police have been trying to interrogate the trust member Mr Srinivasan.
