SA cong leaders to go to Delhi on July 5Congress leaders of the Seema Andhra region today decided to visit Delhi on July 5, 6 to meet the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and other congress core committee leaders with a request to keep the state of Andhra Pradesh united.

Addressing the media after a meeting of the Seema Andhra congress leaders at the CLP office in Hyderabad, Ministers Sailajanath and TG Venkatesh said the congress leaders of the region discussed the issue and decided to request the high command and the Centre to keep the state united.

The ministers said that they would request the Centre and the party to take a decision on the Telangana issue before the TRS and JAC intensify their agitation seeking Telangana state.

Almost all congress MLAs, MLCs, some MPs and senior leaders of the Seema Andhra region attended the today’s meeting which opposed the division of the state vehemently.
