Nanadamuri Taraka Rama Rao... we all know him as NTR and fans call him 'Anna' (Brother in Telugu). Undoubtedly we can say NTR changed the face of Telugu Film Industry and Andhra Pradesh Politics. With movies, he touched getter heights like no one can reach the spot and in politics NTR was a sensation.

Here are few interesting notes of NTR:

1. NTR is the first non-Congress Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

2. He is first politician in India to use rath yatras for campaigning in elections.

3. In NTR's filmy career he won only one Filmfare Award for Badi Panthulu movie as Best Actor.

4. At the age of 40, NTR learned Kuchipudi under the guidance of Vempati Chinnasatyam, the famous Kuchipudu Guru of India.

5. In 1984 Tamil Nadu Elections, NTR campaigned for his friend MG Ramachandran (MGR) as he was hospitalized with Kidney failure.

6. Even though AIADMK was an ally with Congress party, NTR supported his friend MGR in TN elections.

7. NTR made his debut in Tollywood eight years after ANR did.

8. Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) was introduced by NTR.
