The Congress Party's State political affairs in charge Digvijay Singh spoke at Gandhi Bhawan today.

He said that the Congress Party has taken a decision on Telangana after taking the opinion from all other parties.  But, he said, the TDP and YSRCP took U turn on it.  Congress party always sticks to its promise and it did the same in the issue of Telangana.  He said that the bill on the bifurcation of the state is legally perfected.

The security to the Seemandhra people is the responsibility of the Congress leaders, he told.  Congress party guarantees development in both the regions.  Government takes responsibility for the security of the people living at Hyderabad.  He said that it is a right of the citizens of India to buy property anywhere in the Country and live wherever they want.

Talking about the AP State Reorganization Bill 2013, Digvijay Singh said that excepting the law and order at Hyderabad all other aspects in Telangana region will be in the hands of the Telangana Government.  He said that the maximum time for using Hyderabad as a joint capital is only for 10 years.

Digvijay Singh said that two committees will be appointed for the two states and they will work under PCC.  He said that a decision on the committees will be taken after discussing with Sonia Gandhi about it.

He reiterated that the CWC decision is the final one and it is a known fact for all congress leaders.  He said that the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy also has to abide by it as a congress party leader.  He assured that JC Diwakar Reddy who talked against Sonia Gandhi will be dealt with appropriately first by issuing show cause notice.

Digvijay Singh said that he will tour Vizag in 15 days.
