Principal of a school in Bangalore wrote letters to the parents of the school students to close Facebook accounts of their children.

He says that he admits that the facebook helps in getting the relations between people strengthened but it is giving opposite results in case of the children as he observed.

Some teasing and funny comments and unwarranted insulting exchange of opinion are disturbing the tender hearts of the children and straining the relations between them which are creating an unhealthy atmosphere in the school.  Although some of the comments are not intended to hurt any, they are taken to heart and some of them are getting depressed with those comments.

The management expressed its opinion that the children should engage in studies and outdoor games but the amount of time spent on facebook is quite unnecessary as it is also leading to complications in the relations.
