The Hermit Kingdom finds secret Unicorn ..!

When it comes to show eccentricity, no other country even comes close to North Korea, the official Hermit Kingdom of the world. With all the tale tell signs of being really bizarre , the most censored place on the planet has always managed to catch the fascination of public psyche. Mind you, United States and Japan have been trying for so long to match the legendary North Korean standard of weirdness without any visible success..! Be it the cult of personality issue of their leader Kim Jung ll, his god like powers, alleged nuclear capabilities, long range Inter-continental ballistic missiles and other WMDs or the fairy tale version of the nations history , everything about this country, in lay man's word is, a HOT cake.. The newest edition to the list is another shock and awe for the rest of the world, this time North Koreans have found a secret Unicorn...!( Seriously ?)

In an announcement Friday that seems better suited for a grandma's tale, North Korean state news agency reported that archaeologists recently reconfirmed the lair of a unicorn once ridden by an ancient Korean king. According to the Korean Central News Agency, the lair the mythical creature is located 200 meters (about 219 yards) from the Yongmyong Temple in Pyongyang. A rock that sits in front of the lair contains carvings that some believe date back to the period of the Koryo Kingdom (918-1392), the outlet notes.

The director of the History Institute of the DPRK Academy of Social Sciences, which discovered the lair, cited Korean history books as proof. Jo Hui Sung explained the history :

"The Sogyong (Pyongyang) chapter of the old book 'Koryo History' (geographical book), said: Ulmil Pavilion is on the top of Mt. Kumsu, with Yongmyong Temple, one of Pyongyang's eight scenic spots, beneath it. The temple served as a relief palace for King Tongmyong, in which there is the lair of his unicorn."

For your kind information we must add that so far Korean propaganda machine has taught us some of the most hilarious fake history lessons including the information of Kim Jon Il's "divine birth"  , his invention of hamburger, his accomplishment as a writer of 1500 books while in college, shooting 11 holes at one in his first golf match and the “peculiar natural wonders” that occurred when mother nature mourned his death .!

If being alienated makes you ignore the difference between history and fantasy, makes you ignore the difference between entertainment and facts then it becomes crystal clear that something is going really wrong in the Korean peninsula, a place that witnesses the longest ongoing war in the world.
