There are serious doubts on the issue whether Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra are married and a few tabloids are claiming that her relationship with Aditya Chopra is not merely professional or a casual friend. What does Rani Mukerji have to say about these discussions.

Making her last appearance on Filmfare magazine after her comeback movie Aiyaa fared well at the box office and also the accolades showered by audience. She didn't seem offended when she was posed a variety of questions on the issue of their marriage, as many tabloids claimed. She coolly quashed them as lies (or parried the questions?) saying there was nothing she could do about lies.

The tabloids gave her the sobriquet of "The Boss" of Yash Raj films she said that she couldn't care less about what people talked behind her back. She added that she was focused on her work and life.

Questioned about her relationship with Aditya Chopra she said, "He has been my producer, and is a friend." But what about the car she received as a "gift" which was worth a crore and a half? "Yet another lie! What can I do about lies?", she claims.

"What about your marriage with Aditya?" This time she was a little aggressive in her tone denying the allegation vehemently. " What can I do about people who believe in lies?... My marriage has become a joke, which is absolutely wrong." Tabloids claimed that they both were married 8 months ago.

Being a celeb in India comes at a price and is attached to several occupational hazards and Rani seems to be avoiding the yellow journalism part pretty well. Whether what she said was true or not is not something we will know for sure until they both mention publicly on the matter of their relationship.
