Katrina tried her best to evade and divert shutterbugs on her birthday on July 16. Well she posed for the lensmen and even exchanged pleasantries with them but requested them not to follow her on that day purely her personal one. She insisted all along that she had no birthday plans and would be busy dubbing for her upcoming thriller at Yash Chopra’s studio.  If one remembers the last year, she met both the rival Khans on her birthday but separately. However, the spate added fire to the already fully blown flames.

Inspite of all her pleas some investigative personnel discreetly followed the star and found the venue of her birthday bash. And it was discovered as the Bandra residence of her former beau Salman Khan. And the invitees were not from the filmy dhunia and were friends who had no connections. “It was Katrina’s plan to fool the media and she did manage to some extent. She had her own plans chalked out and did not want anyone in the media to know about it. That’s exactly the reason why she asked the shutterbugs waiting outside her home to not follow her when she left her house last night,” says a source close to the couple.

“She went to Salman’s house and made sure that no one would notice her while entering the house. He did not invite people from the film industry for this bash. It was a small private affair with only few close family members and a couple of friends from the industry,” adds the source.
