Megastar-turned-MP Chiranjeevi's Delhi tour gained momentum in the wake of news that Chiranjeevi is all set to become the chief minister in 2014. Chiru stirring up controversy by predicting Congress party's grim chances of coming to power in 2014 has, however, maintained silence at Delhi. What everyone is presumably thinking is whether Chiranjeevi's silence was strategic. Whatever might be the reason, the sources said Chiranjeevi apparently enlisted all his views and analysis in the detailed report handed over to the high command on Wednesday.

After bypoll results were announced, Congress party leaders got a jolt as the party drew just two seats and that too in the constituencies, where Chiranjeevi's fans were maximum and where BC leaders can rely on the kapu vote bank.  But, what happened to the vote bank of PRP has become another question. In the wake of all these discussions, Chiranjeevi made it clear that Congress was not successful in turning the vote bank of PRP towards Congress. He said PRP activists and leaders weren't given recognition by the Congress party.

In a eleven-page report to Sonia, Chiranjeevi presumably highlighted more on the same injustice meted out to PRP loyalists.  He reportedly pinpointed at the way Congress leaders failed to coordinate with scores of PRP activists after PRP was merged with Congress. Also, Chiru was said to have brough to the notice of Sonia Gandhi that PRP leaders were purpotedly treated as second grade citizens, which in turn costed the Congress dearly.

Chiranjeevi has even reportedly told Sonia Gandhi that Congress party would achieve maximum results in the forth coming general elections in case PRP leaders are taken into confidence and work with them from grass root level. Even in Tirupati, the same lack of coordination between Congress and PRP, resulted in Congress party's defeat in bypolls, mentioned Chiranjeevi in his report to Sonia Gandhi.

The other important things that reportedly came up for discussion include the selection of candidates. The sources said Chiru threw light at the one sided decision of the leadership in the state over selection of candidates in certain constituencies. Now that Congress high command reportedly came to know the vain of PRP loyalists, what steps Congress would take to make activists become voters of Congress has become a million dollar question!
