‘Aarakshan’, finally free to be screened!

aarakshan-movieJust a small re call, on this Friday, 12th August, everyone were waiting for two films to release, Ram’s ‘Kandireega’ and all Hindi speaking audience for Amitabh’s ‘Aarakshan’. But, to everyone’s surprise, the film was banned from screening in Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh respectively. ‘Aarakshan’ is about the issues of reservation in academic institutions and has Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The Ban was imposed due to certain sequences and dialogues in the film, seemed to be hurting certain section of people.

However, the film maker Prakash Jha, took care on trimming all those sequences in the film, that in turn resulted to the call off of the ban. The film, here after will be screened in Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh as well. Prakash Jha has expressed his happiness on the ban called off on the screening of the film.

Well, even I am excited to watch the film. Will do that, and will be posting the review of this much controversial film of the season, in the ‘Movie Review’ space!
