Till date, in more than 75 years of History of Telugu Cinema, there is no other film, of which more or less the entire Story is based on a Hero and his name, other than, the award winning film, ‘Ashta Chamma’. This film, from the start frame, till the climax, revolves around a name and a character that the Heroine of the film is ‘lattu’ on, and he is none other than ‘Prince’ Mahesh Babu.
I am sure almost all the lady admirers of all age groups, loved this line said by the Heroine in the film, ‘Mahesh… Aa Peru Lone Vibrations Unnaayi’.
Being introduced as a Child Artist, in Telugu Cinema, it was not hard for Mahesh to make a Debut as a Hero, as a Son of Super Star Krishna. But, where ever is this Actor is standing today, the entire hard work is done by him, to make his own identity in Cinema, and he has achieved much more than that.
If we observe, right from his debut film ‘Raja Kumarudu’ till his last release ‘Khaleja’, Mahesh has been growing as an Actor with every film of his. Unfortunately, the success and flop ratio of Mahesh’s films, the flops he faced are much more. But, the successful films he has done created block buster collections at the box office. Be it ‘Murari’, ‘Okkadu’, ‘Athadu’ and who can forget the Actor’s ‘Pokiri’. Today, Mahesh has reached that stage of his career where the failure of any film, would not affect his career, in a negative way. He is busy doing films, accepting new projects and yes, endorsing n number of Brands.
Mahesh was no doubt handsome always. But, he transformed his entire looks and personality from his film ‘Athadu’. Since, then Mahesh started changing his looks for better, with each film of his. And now, I hear people calling him ‘South Indian Tom Cruise’. Known as well behaved Actor in the industry, Mahesh’s behavior complements to his looks as well.
More than a year, after his last release ‘Khaleja’, Mahesh will soon entertain the audience, with his ‘Dookudu’. Hope the ‘Pokiri’ magic would work again, and make Mahesh’s ‘Dookudu’ a block buster success.
