Prince Mahesh Babu is known for being very choosy with his roles. The Actor is also against in acting in the remake films. But, Mahesh kept all this aside and accepted to act in a remake of B – Town block buster film, 3 Idiots remake, when the role was offered to him by Director of the film, Shanker. But, later, Mahesh could not sufficient dates for this film, as the Actor is already busy shooting for Sreenu Vytla’s Directorial ‘Dookudu’. Finally, Mahesh has admitted that he regrets having missed to act in Shanker’s direction. The Actor is also very upset that, his film with Mani Ratnam as a directed has stopped even before it started.

Both Shanker and Mani Ratnam top the favorite directors list of Prince Mahesh Babu. However, Mahesh is looking forward to act under his favorite directors direction, atleast in his near future. As of now, Mahesh busy working on completing his upcoming film ‘Dookudu’. The film might release at the end of August, this year. The Actor is playing a role of a tough Cop in this film.
