Amitji, as he has fondly called, turned 69 Tuesday. He says he finds himself close to the people who have leaded a life in adverse conditions. He lamented that there are many things that cross my mind which I feel I should also be doing. Someday perhaps I shall find time for them too in an exlusive interview.
To mark Bollywood great Amitji’s big day different stars are coming together. There will be different Bollywood stars dressed as different Bollywood characters that Amitabh Bachan has played. The true patriot Amitji in an exclusive interview he quoted that on his birthday, he was a satisfied man and thanks God for all that was showered on him. His only regret was about our nation growing at leaps and bounds but for the country I would wish for it to progress much beyond its clichéd label of a ‘third world country’. I want it to be the ‘first’, not ‘third’!!
