AAP leader joins BJP

Former Aam Aadmi Party legislator, who also served as Speaker of the Delhi Assembly, M.S. Dhir joined Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Satish Upadhyay. MS Dhir belongs to BJP but he joined the Aam Aadmi Party before the elections. He contested from Jangpura constituency and won the elections.

According to the sources, AAP is not considering to give ticket to MS Dhir and so he shifted the party. But after taking up the saffron flag, Dhir said, “AAP got one chance to form a government, but got emotional and resigned, which they should not have done. Kejriwal hurt the emotions of the masses, which supported him, by resigning as CM.”

The former Delhi speaker opined that Arvind Kejriwal doesn't fit the bill to serve the people of Delhi but holds no grudge against him. Former captain of Indian Davis Cup team Rohit Rajpal also joined the BJP.
