While the BJP is looking to form the minority government in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena has stepped into action and extended its wholehearted support to the Saffron party. Shiv Sena also kept their 'conditions' aside and is expected to participate in the BJP led government formation on October 30th. Sena in its mouthpiece 'Saamana' hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for the good performance of BJP in the elections.

The editorial also indicated that Shiv Sena is ready to support any CM candidate of BJP but did not mention about conditions that it proposed. Earlier Shiv Sena proposed 1995 formula which has demands of deputy CM and important portfolios. However, BJP rejected his formula and from the sources we hear that, BJP might also ignore key profiles to Shiv Sena and may offer only Industires or Revenue portfolio.

Union Minister Rajnath Singh will land in Mumbai tomorrow and will be holding talks with Shiv Sena for the government formation. Overall, the political situation is settling down slowly while BJP is yet to take a decision on the CM candidate. Devedra Fadnavis is likely to be the ideal choice.
