EC insists for more security in UP

The Chief Election Commission has order for tighter security in Uttar Pradesh which will go for polling in 15 Parliamentary constituencies. In the third and fourth phase of elections, major political parties were involved in rigging and clashes. So to ensure safe polling, EC has ordered 300 companies of central forces to provide security in the UP state.

Also with elections in major states ended, the UP Election Commission has deployed more security personnel and specially in the naxals sensitive areas, EC wants to go ahead with elections despite the naxal calling for a boycott.

BJP and BSP are demanding more security and stringent action against those who disturb the polling process while the Samajwadi Party is optimistic here.
