Aam Aadmi Party which pulled off itself from the government last week in Delhi has announced 20 names who will be contesting in upcoming Lok Sabha elections. All the candidates will be competing with the Big Guns of the Indian politics and it is going to be tough job for them to defeat the targetted politicians.
Medha Patkar, Anjali Damania, Yogendra Yadav, Ashutosh and Kumar Vishwas are among 20 people in the first list of the Aam Aadmi Party's candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. Kumar Vishwas will contest against Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi in Amethi, Anjali Damania will battle with BJP former president Nitin Gadkari, Ashutosh against Law Minister Kapil Sibal and activist Medha Patkar against Sanjay Dina Patil from North East Mumbai.
Baba Hardev will contest against SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav in Mainpuri, Mukul Tripati will battle with Salman Khurshid while Khalid Pervez will take on Congress MP Mohammed Azharuddin in Moradabad.
AAP has so far announced candidates for North states and South, North East states have been completely ignored. As this only the first list of candidates, AAP is heard to be working hard on finding candidates in the South and North East states.
