AAP to seek Trust Vote in Assembly

It is a judgment day for Aam Aadmi Party government today as it will have to prove its majority in the Delhi Assembly. The Congress party which gave support for AAP in government formation have again clarified that they will abide the decision of high command.

In the 70-member Delhi assembly the majority mark is 36. AAP has 28 members and the Congress has eight members. The BJP has 31 seats and it has Janata Dal party's one MLA support. The BJP is the single largest party in the House.

The eight Congress MLAs are divided over the support to AAP government, so the Congress party's Delhi incharge Shakeel Ahmed might issue a party whip in favor of backing government.
