Kejriwal Kept Up Water Promise

Arvind Kejriwal Convener of Aam Admi Party kept up his promise at the time of elections.  He declared on Monday as Chief Minister of Delhi that every family will get about 700 liters of water per day free of cost.

Kejriwal who was down with fever on Monday participated in the meeting with Delhi Jal Board as the decision was crucial.

Every house connection with a water meter will get 20000 liters of water per month free of cost which works out to 667 liters per day at an average. There will not be any limit per day. Only monthly consumption will be calculated and it will be charged only if the consumption exceeds the limit of 20000 liters per month.

The above decision taken will be implemented effective from January 1.
