Anna Hazare started indefinite hunger strike today demanding Government to pass Lokpal Bill in the Parliament immediately.
Anna Hazare said that Jan Lokpal will be a big step towards nation building. He said that the Congress Government has betrayed and failed in keeping up its promise to pass Lokpal bill in the Parliament.
Anna Hazare has chosen the venue for the indefinite hunger strike in the premises of the temple of Yadav Baba at his native place Ralegan Siddhi.
He reminded his previous hunger strike at Delhi during which time Sonia Gandhi wrote a letter to him assuring him of the readiness of the Government to bring the Janlokpal and asked him to break the fasting. He says that he trusted those words and ended his hunger strike not aware that the Government will betray the people of India.
