Don't Play Politics, Beef up Security to Modi-BJP

We have already lost two Prime Ministers in terrorists' activity, says BJP, not to resort to politics on the matter of security.

The BJP Spokesman Prakash Javadekar said in the press conference at Delhi, "The Congress instead of playing politics should take the threat of terrorism seriously. The Patna blasts were done with the intention to liquidate top leaders of BJP present at the rally. They were done to cause them serious harm".

He reminded the incidents of the assassinations of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi and demanded that the Congress Government should beef up security to Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders at least after the incident of Patna blasts at Modi’s meeting.

He said that terrorism is a challenge for India and blamed that it was a gross negligence on the part of the Center and Bihar Governments in providing security to Modi during the public meeting at Patna.

Six people died in the low intensity blasts at Patna on the day of Modi’s “Hunkar Sabha” at Patna.
