Gianni Versace Miami villa to be auctioned

The magnificent Miami villa where fashion icon Gianni Versace was shot dead in 1997 is to be sold at auction and is anticipated to mount beyond US$50 million (S$63 million) which was informed by the company managing the sale on Thursday.  The house along with its outbuildings which is inclusive of  Versace's former home are located just a stone's throw from the beach on Miami's Ocean Drive tourist location. Furthermore, the property had been transformed into a boutique hotel yet has been sold off by its current owner at the same time  an auction has been scheduled for Sept 17.

The president of the Fischer Auction Company which is handling the sale, Mr Lamar Fischer, expressed that he expected the estate to be sold not exceeding 30 minutes.
