Britain wins 2013 Wimbledon Championship

After decades of wait, a Brit has finally won the 2013 Wimbledon Championships held in London. Andy Murray beat Novak Djokovic 6-4, 7-5, 6-4 on Sunday to take the trophy.

It was an anxious day for the British as the game unfolded. Andy played with calm and poise, ending a 77-year long wait for the country to take the title. He is now a force to reckon with among the grand slam circuits.

As the nation feverishly celebrated, Andy expressed that he could not believe that it has happened. He said that he is still trying to wrap his head around the huge win. Andy has remained unbeaten for the last 18 games since he won the 2012 Olympic gold medal at Wimbledon.

Andy attributed his perfect form to hard work and perseverance, which all champions have plenty of.
