Facebook has been the platform for all the current students and the alumni of an alma mater where they have been posting their "confessions" that are related to their college lives. This has become a new trend in the colleges, largely, all over India.

Administrators are taking the messages sent to a special page dediceted to the college "confessions" and posting the best of them on the page. The confessions are generally messages to the university or the college to amend some rules that are too restricting or suggestions that they cannot dare to come forward in real life and hence doing it anonymously.

Few of them are using the page to confess their secret love to members of the college too. Personal stories that you cannot share with anyone since people might judge you will no longer torment you, for you have a platform where you can share the incident without letting anyone know your identity.

The trend has caught up because most people have things that have been kept secret with them to rot in their minds and hearts, and few others find it interesting to read about the "gupchup" life of their friends and strangers. However, there are several people who have resorted to abusing the pages for the sake of fun too.
