Malala Yousafzai has undergone surgery to repair her skull which was badly damaged when the teenaged Pakistani schoolgirl was shot in the head by a militant last October.
In fact, the Doctors treating her at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital said they were "completely satisfied" with the operation which was a five-hour procedure on Saturday involving in fitting a titanium plate into the missing part of her skull.
Moreover, a small electronic device was also implanted into her left ear to help her regain hearing which she lost after the attack. To say more, she is recovering well and she woke up and was talking to her doctors and her family members.
