NRI marries thrice, police try to impound his passport

An NRI man has allegedly married twice before he entered into wedlock with a woman in Lucknow in 2011. The woman, who was in early 30s, apparently received a shock when she got to know that her husband, who worked with a reputed bank in USA, married once in 2003 and later in 2009. The woman, as soon as she got to know about the cheating, approached the police and filed a complaint against her husband Feroze Mumtaz Ali.

The police, who took up the complaint, have enquired with the United States embassy to know whether the charges of woman were correct. The embassy in Delhi told the police that the man married twice earlier. The police are in the process of writing to the United States embassy for impounding the passport of the accused.

According to the police, this person who married the woman reportedly showed reluctance to take her to United States along with him time and again. His behaviour made her suspicious and therefore she approached the police. The police have also said that the first marriage of Ali was with a US citizen and therefore he got US citizenship. The details of his family members are also not known so far, which is apparently making this case a hard nut to crack.

Andhra Wishesh takes an opportunity to tell everyone to enquire in details before you solemnize the wedding of your daughters to a person residing outside India. The person, after dumping your daughter, might be taken to the task but the life she lost cannot be re-winded.
