Delhi rape case: Police to file e-charge sheet

The Chief Justice of India has today inaugurated the first of five special fast track courts at Saket complex in Delhi to try the Delhi rape case.  Meanwhile, the Delhi police is all set to submit its 1000 page charge sheet in Saket court tomorrow. It has been learned that the police are going to file e charge sheet instead of the hard copy to maintain extreme secrecy of the content and a faster trial. The trials of the case would begin from tomorrow after the police submits its charge sheet.

A chronology of activities carried out by the six accused on December 16 till they were caught were reportedly being mentioned in the charge sheet.  It apparently tells the court as to how the deceased girl and her fiancee boarded the bus at Munirka bus stop to reach Dwarka. The accused six in the bus allegedly beat her fiancee and brutally raped the 23-year-old medical student that eventually led to her death. The sources said that the police wants to appeal for the maximum punishment to the accused. Meanwhile, prayers are going on across the country for speedy justice to the victim and bereaved family.
