Restrictions remain in place

Protests are going on in Delhi for speedy justice for the Delhi gang rape victim who succumbed to injuries at Singapore on Saturday. The Delhi police took all steps to ensure that law and order don't go for toss in the wake of these protests. Today being Sunday, a large number of youth are most likely to hit main centres of the national capital region.

Therefore, all important places such as india Gate and other metro stations have been close. Traffic restrictions too are in place in many parts of the city. Also, extra security has been beefed up near the residences of prominent personalities in Delhi.

The sources said that these protests are likely to go on every day until the victim gets the justice. Some were of the opinion that the guilty should be hanged to neck till death at the same bus stop where the girl and her boy friend were picked up on December 16. Anyway, the police said that they would file a charge sheet on January 3, 2013 on the six arrested who were arrested last week.

The funeral rites of the victim were complete this morning. Prayers are also going for peace of her soul. This is the first tiem ever wherein the entire country came in support of a woman. A new movement has begun, the movement to deliver justice to all women and the victim took all the punishment and sacrificed herself for the better future of women in India.

Hats off to dear sister, the sweet daughter of India, Ms. Damini. May your soul rest in peace. Your sacrifice didn't go unnoticed. The entire country is with you.
