The incident of a rape in a moving bus in Delhi has shook the nation to the roots. The driver of the bus was arrested and presented in the court this evening. He was convicted along with six other accomplices while being accused of raping a 23 year old girl and throwing her out of the bus. The bus driver was remanded to police custody today at the court.

Four of the seven total accused were arrested while the others are being tracked. The police asked for the custody of the driver since they believed that he could provide info about their whereabouts.

The court said, "Accused Ram Singh is remanded to five days of police custody. Accused be produced on December 23."

Another male friend, who watched the movie along with the girl, a paramedical student,  was also beaten and thrown off the vehicle.
