Indian mother beats son to death for not memorizing Qur’an

In a shocking incident an Indian origin mother was found guilty on the charges that she beat her son to death for not memorizing lines from the Islamic holy book Qur'an. Sara Ege, 33, an Indian mathematics graduate, was found guilty at Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday of beating her son Yaseen Ege to death. The incident took place at victim's own home in Pontcanna, Cardiff, on the month of July 2010. The devilish mother reportedly set fire to the dead body.

According to BBC she was also convicted of perverting the course of justice at the court and surprisingly in her confession she said that the stick that she used to beat her son , was in fact possessed
by an evil spirit.

Meanwhile, Yousuf Ege, 38, the victim's father was acquitted of causing Yaseen's death by failing to protect him. The exact nature of her sentence hasn't been disclosed as of now, but judging by the gruesomeness of it's nature the woman may get a life sentence.
